Madhyanchal Mahotsav

Indian culture, one of the world's most ancient and vibrant civilizations, is renowned for its rich and diverse art and literary heritage. The folk and tribal traditions of Central India have made an unparalleled contribution to this cultural mosiac. These traditions, shaped by social and community displacements and migrations, have transcended borders, enriching the nations's cultural landscape. The central region of India has been a cradle of creativity, playing a vital role in the creation, preservation, and enhancement of Indian knowledge traditions.


To honour and celebrate this illustrious cultural and literary legacy,we are delighted to present the inaugural "Madhyanchal Mahotsav : Madhya Bhoomi ka Sanskritik Spandan scheduled for February 2025. This prestigous event will spotlightthe folk culture, art and literature of Central India, bringing together prominent writers, artists, actors, directors and culture experts from across the country. Key attractions will include the trible products exhibition, a handicradt bazaar and a book fair, among others. The festival will be hosted at the Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management (IITTM), Gwalior, a UNESCO - designated Music City.


We are proud to partner with the Ministry of Tourism and the MInistry of Culture, Goverment of India, along with the Culture and Tourism Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to bring this vision to life. On behalf of Yomeena Foundation, we extend a hearfelt invitation to collabration and support this noble initiative. About the Foundation

Yomeena Foundation

The Yomeena Foundation, established in 2012 and formally registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, is a distinguished non-profit organization dedicated to fostering impactfull initiatives in education, healthcare, research, women's and child protection, promotion of art and culture etc. Recognized under Sections 80G and 12A of the Income Tax Act, the Foundation is authorized to receive CSR funds and donations, enabling its broad spectrum of activities across India. With a Pan-India operational footprint, the Yomeena Foundation spearheads several key initiatives aimed at cultural, intellectual and social development. Notable among these are “Chaupla”, which focuses on cultural enrichment for youth; “Yo-Talks”, a platform for contemporary discussions and “Jashn-e-Zubaan: Utsav Bhasha ka”, an annual celebration of linguistic and literary heritage.


The Foundation has also forged partnerships with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and actively contributes to forums such as Chalk, Swayam Siddha, Vaisheshik, PranCare, Vidhanam, Pagdandi and Panchbhoot. These initiatives reflect its commitment to holistic societal development, blending traditional wisdom with contemporary relevance. Through its multi-faceted approach, the Yomeena Foundation continues to be a beacon of progress, empowerment and cultural preservation, striving to build a more inclusive and enriched society.
